Learn about Baton Rouge Community College’s Workforce Education courses and classes. Representatives from BRCC will discuss available courses, locations, and financial aid.

These offerings can help jumpstart you into your new career or improve your knowledge in your current career. These courses take place at several BRCC sites and includes topics such as: Manufacturing & Construction, Healthcare, Hospitality, Transportation & Logistics, Information Technology, and Business & Law.

It can be difficult to apply for jobs when you are also struggling with a disability. Come and learn about the resources available to you and about what rights you have as an applicant. This information is also useful for those currently employed.

Learn more about the offerings of the Louisiana Rehabilitation Services department of the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Vicki Crochet, an employment law expert, will provide information about the American Disability Act and the rights afforded to those who have disabilities.

Baton Rouge Community College Workforce Development is offering a free training opportunity, hosted at the Main Library, to earn the Bloodborne Pathogens certification from the American Red Cross.

This industry-based certification is perfect for anyone who wants to up-skill their professional profile. This course will teach you how blood borne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure, and what to do if you are exposed to infectious material.
