As a reminder, the East Baton Rouge Parish Library has launched a new version of its website. As part of this change, the library absorbed the Career Center and deleted our separate website. Our new website is www.ebrpl.com/departments/career-center.

Our new website contains all of the same information and links that were on the old website. Additionally, if you go to careercenterbr.com, which was our old website, it will automatically redirect you to our new site.

BUT CRUCIALLY: some of the other old links to specific sections of the website no longer work. If you try to go to careercenterbr.com/events, for example, you will get an error message. The updated link is ebrpl.com/departments/career-center/events. Please update your records accordingly. Please call us at 225-231-3733 if you have any questions, comments or concerns.

Are you stuck in your career, overwhelmed by life’s many choices, or searching for
that creative outlet? If you need to find focus, rediscover your creativity, and
become your authentic self, join us for the 13-week program “The Artist’s Way”.

Artistic and unartistic types alike will benefit from this hands-on program.
The workshop will closely follow the book “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron.
It will also incorporate creating a work of art to accompany the curriculum.
(NO artistic experience is required to finish the project.)

The program takes place at the Main Library on Goodwood on
13 consecutive Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm starting February 6, 2025.
