Itās STILL Job Fair Season - And Now Itās Second Chance Month Too!
There are a number of multi-company job fairs happening in the area this month, including some Second Chance events aimed at formerly incarcerated citizens. Dates, times, and locations below:

April Seminars
PRODUCTIVITY HOUR
EVERY MONDAY IN MARCH 2026
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Main Library at Goodwood
Room D, Second Floor
Productivity Hour is for workers of all stripes ā even students and hobbyists.
Bring your laptop, literature, or project and join us for an hour of productivity.
Participants are expected to work quietly, and at the end of the session everyone will be asked to share an update on their progress.
Free Wi-fi access will be available, along with pen and paper, and light refreshments. Laptops are available upon request. Ages 16 and up are welcome to attend.
No registration required - just show up with your project!
JOB CLUB FOR JOBSEEKERS IN PROFESSIONAL CAREERS
EVERY FRIDAY IN MARCH, 2026

Part job search workshop, part support group, this unique 12-week program is free of charge and open to individuals in white-collar careers who are seeking employment.
Job searching can be a lonely and discouraging activity, and this group will provide you with a safe space and like-minded professionals. Join us every Friday to share experiences, network, encourage, learn the latest job search techniques, and be accountable to each other. Registration is required at 225-231-3733 or [email protected].

Attention, active jobseekers: April is Job Fair month. In order to make the most of your chances for success, we recommend that you come to our Job Fair Success seminar.
Career Center staff will discuss what to expect at job fairs, how to prepare,
how to make a good first impression, and how to avoid common mistakes.
Use this workshop to prep for EmployBR's large job fair on April 29
and City of Light's job fair on April 28!
